Why Do I Strongly Believe Music Workshops Is Critically IMPORTANT In Shaping Your Life?

My Music career started when I was invited by a close friend of mine to attend a music workshop with him hosted by visible Ink back in 2007. The aim of the workshop was to create a space and to empower diverse communities of young people through poetry/spoken word and hip hop. They wanted to create a platform for young multicultural Australians and new Australians to share their stories. That one single workshop changes everything for me. It was the day that turned my life around. I feel in love with hip-hop and spoken word ever since. Music became my biggest therapy of all time. The only tool that given me the platform to express what was inside out. The way thing were going for me, without music, I would have been living the life of crime or worst, in jail. I remembered, before I attended that workshop, I was so confused and frustrated about life. I didn’t know what to do and I have built strong negative emotions inside me, I’ve felt like the world didn’t care about me. I was ready and willing to go against all odd.

I’m where I am. I’m who I am today because of music workshops.

Here Are Few Sample Of My Written/Recorded SpokenWord Poetry & Music.

Everything here is original. I’ve written the words, recorded the audio and edited the video. I will teach you how to do the same even when you never done it before 🙂

What Previous Participants Say About The Workshop.

It was dope. Having my story heard and being value as a young person is a real kick as feeling.
Mike D
“I was pretty shy before. Deep down I had this craving to be heard but I just didn’t know how. Mantist was so patient with me at start and now I have written and recorded over 5 of my original spoken word poetry which is close to my heart.”
Grace Esther
“Attending the workshop with Mantist was the best decision I made. I was losing my way and always getting into trouble but he shown me how I can express my anger on paper.”
